Hi, I’m Scott Preston.

I’ve built robots. Led engineering teams. Launched startups. Spoken at conferences about innovation, tech, and building things that actually work. For over 20 years, I’ve solved real-world problems in the trenches not just talked about them. And yeah, I’ve bought the books, watched the webinars, and fallen for the same shiny promises you probably have.

This isn’t my first time writing a book either. I’m the author of The Definitive Guide to Building Java Robots and Learn HTML5 and JavaScript for iOS, and I’ve been a proud coach and participant in Start-Up Weekends across Central Ohio for the last 20 years.

I’m not here to sell you a dream. I’m here because I got tired of the half-baked advice, the hype-driven gurus, and the endless loop of “just one more thing” that never quite delivers.
